hi, i want to buy an iphone that works in Belgium(Europe) and in the USA. do i need to buy 1 of eBay? do i need to find a locale store that sells it? do i have to buy one from apple in USA and hack it myself? what program is best to hack it myself? any tips?

what do you think?
hi everybody.im from south africa and working in belgium untill next year.from the moment i arrived here everybody tought i was from brazil because i am a coloured.i was just wondering if you also think there are only black people in south africa because it makes me sad to know that some people from other countries dont know about all the different cultures and races in my country. from a girl who's proudly south african.

No, I don't think that there are only black people in South Africa. There are people off all colors in pretty much every country. Many people don't know anything about other cultures and you're right, that is pretty sad.

It depends in which part of Belgium you live. In general the Flemish people know South Africa very well (because of the Afrikaans that has some roots with Flemish and Dutch). Your country is one of the top countries in Africa that is visited by the Belgians. Don't be sad, your countries is much more known in Belgium than you think. And you may be proud on your country. Loved it also when I've visited it.

Gun control doesn't work even in countries where guns are illegal...because there is more than one way to skin a cat!...or children for that matter..I say if the director of the center had a GUN...the only dead person would be the perpetrator!

No, a weapon isn't any good unless it is wielded by someone who is trained to use it. If the daycare center had security then less people might have come out of it unscathed. You also have to remember that a knife is silent and deadly. When would the director of the center know that something was amiss?

All of us own guns (for hunting purposes, not for play or protection) I am not interested in anyone putting gun control laws in place, and would vote against it if on a ballot. But seriously, a gun in a childcare center? You can't have a gun in a place where there are many children being cared for. And even if you did it would have to be under lock and key to make sure the kids didn't get it and kill or maim themselves. In which place it would be no good in the event of a surprise attack, like in Belgium, the person in charge wouldn't have had time to get to it anyway. how idiotic......to think....

No. What you fail to realize is that people who own guns - and can use them - have a certain personality ( soldiers, police officers, etc). They may be good with guns on a moment's notice, but are they equipped to deal with children and their parents on a daily basis for years? Or are you implying that an educator should carry a gun? Would this person be able to use it? Would this person be able to kill? Also, guns and children don't mix. So, think this through....Two children died in Chinatown yesterday by an unoccupied van which backed into them. They were 3 and 4 years old. 11 injured.... You can not prevent every accident and/or crime.

Self defense is always a good idea and is a basic human right. Defense of others, especially children is also a basic human right. These rights are not granted by governments, they are basic human rights, enjoyed by all people in the world. Any government who revokes or denies these rights must be removed and replaced. Criminals and other human animal predators will always have and use guns. No matter what any government says or does. 911 should be used to report the death of the criminal attacker by an armed defender. Not to report the death of a victim of the crime. Look at the two answers above who are just beside themselves that there should be a gun in a child care center. Hello? We wouldn't be having this conversation if there was no gun in the child care center.

How can i contact a neurosurgeon working in Europe and specializing in the neurosurgery for OCD
How can i contact a neurosurgeon working in Europe and specializing in the neurosurgery for OCD?
I've searched in the web but i can't find a neurosurgeon who is willing to give his own email address. Without an email address how am i supposed to contact one. a couple of months ago i sent an email to a neurosurgeon working in Belgium who was the first to report on the use of DBS for intractable OCD, but he never answered me. They say there's hope for us who suffer from intractable OCD but if you can't get in touch with a specialist then how are they going to help you. People are dying out there because surgery is not offered to them and this makes them feel very desperate. Conventional therapy is often not effective for some OCD sufferers. What should we do? Leave them get worse and eventually die? I don't understand this kind of indifference. People think of cancer as the most malignant form of desease ever, but severe mental illness is the most malignant disease you can have. It destroys relationships, careers, knowledge, way of thinking, personality, and finally people end up totally isolated without any sort of self-confidence or hope, loose touch with their past (even worse than loosing touch with the present reality). Some also commit suicide. This is not right. Real mental illness is not a joke! I have heard people abusing with terms inherent to mental illness, and some have even used the term depression fashion. Depression is not a fashion for a depression sufferer, at least if you are not psychotic.

The best way to contact a neurosurgeon is to call the hospital he/she is practicing in and leave a message for someone to call you back. You can probably speak to someone in his/her department and leave a message. You would probably also have better luck if your psychiatrist contacted the neurosurgery department on your behalf -- they will answer your doctor faster than they will answer you in a request for information. I really sympathize with you and hope you find relief soon.
