Depends on your nationality. Is it Greek, you can work in all other countries who are member of the European Community. If not, you need a work permit. http://www.belgium.be/en/work/coming_to_work_in_belgium/

you need an ID card its like a passport and you need to be registered and get this stamped this allows you to work there

You can chip it later if it won't work

the power plugs will be different, but you should be able to buy an adapter

The games are region free on the ps3. That is to say any game from any region will work. I imagine a power adapter is what you'll need.

How does postage work in Belgium

How does postage work in Belgium?
I'm in Belgium on a placement and I don't know how the postage works, can someone tell me how the address format works? and if I have no post box (because I live in student accommodation but I'm sure there isn't a post box) do I collect from the postal office? and what about receiving packages? Thank you

Surname Firstname Streetname number Postcode Town Some will put B- before the postcode and town but is not compulsory. They charge per size. One standard, one non-standard. Be careful with cards. some are odd sizes and they cost more to send, especially abroad. There should be a collection point for mail in the building. If there is a packet delivered and you are not in the postie will leve a card for it to be collected from the post office. You will need id to collect..

I want to find work in Belgium but not sure how to go about it

I want to find work in Belgium but not sure how to go about it.?
I will be done with massage therapy school in April of 2009. I'd love to go to Europe (preferably Belgium because that is where my brother lives) and work there in a spa or somewhere doing massage therapy. Does anybody know of websites I can get on to find employment and what sort of qualifications you have to have? Thanks so much in advance!

When you come to Belgium you need to have put up your residency and Visa. (depending from what country you are) It helps when you know someone before you come like your brother as then you can put his name as a sponsor on the paper work. When you are registered in a city have a visa and a pre-workpermit you can go for job hunting. Professional Massage parlours are not that big in Belgium, we have some smaller ones that are run by the owner without no staff. So finding a job in that sector will not be easy however you might set it up for your self as an independent. this could mean your degree that you will get in 2009 is not going to be sufficient and you need to take extra courses in business management. Good luck, Belgium is a nice place to stay and to start a business, it is not easy but it gives satisfaction...

Yfou should realize that as a non EU citizen, it will be extremely difficult to obtain a work permit. Apart from that as an independent entrepreneur you need a degree in your speciality and a degree in business administration. The Belgian government has a special department to find jobs for Belgians, but I donĂ‚´t know whether this works for foreigners. Try vdab in google. Good luck

it is NOT difficult to obtain work permit, it just takes time! you just have to apply well i advance. Two month i'd say.

You will have to have a WORK visa... you can't just go to Belgium or any OTHER country and start working because the authorities WILL find you and they WILL deport you... at YOUR EXPENSE. I lived in Bruxelles for 2 years and knew a lot of AmeriKans who came there thinking they were going to get a job... and they were ALL caught for working illegally. Even the Post Office spies on you. If you rent an apartment and start receiving mail and your name is not on the 'list', you WILL be reported and you can expect a visit by the guys in the black trenchcoats and a visit to the Palais du Justice.
