im buying a ps3 before i move to belgium but im worried to plug it in and fry it. Will it work without a power converter? or will i need to get one if so where? im moving in 14 days so a quick responce would be nice thanks

I'd say to be on the safe side if you are very worried about it then wait but I believe all you will probably need is to replace the power cable leading to the system and the power brick will protect it from being fried and even if it does call up sony and the'll send you another

yes, all ps3 models have a universal power supply meaning ps3 has 100-240v power supply. i have a u.s. ps3 that says 110v but im using it here in the philippines where the ac is 240v.
